What is once upon a book?

Once upon a book is a personalised book service helping rekindle the joy of reading a physical book. We cater for all ages.

How does once upon a book work?

Each month we hand select 1-2 books (depending on your plan) for you or your loved one. The books selected will be based off the information provided on the order form. These will be delivered straight to your door each month.

When will my books be posted?

We ship on the 10th of every month. In the event that the 10th falls on a public holiday or a weekend, we will ship on the next business day. Your subscription will commence the month you place your order, provided that the order is in by the 1st of the month. If the order falls on the 1st or after you will get your books the following month. Alternately if you are to excited to wait you can contact us on hello@onceuponabook.com.au and we could process your payment and get your order sent out to you asap. Then the following month it would continue on schedule for the 10th.

If you have ordered a once off pack, that will sent within the week of ordering.

When will my subscription be rebilled?

We will automatically renew your subscription on the 8th of every month.

Do you have a Pre-Paid option?

Yes we currently offer a 3 or 6 month prepaid option.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for the first box to be sent, this is so we can research and source the right book for the reader. The following boxes will be sent out every 4 weeks after the first box. Once the 3 or 6 months are up, the subscription will automatically stop. We are offering a 5% Discount for the prepaid boxes.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is FREE!

What happens if we receive a book we already own?

We are more than happy to send you a replacement book. Please send us an email at hello@onceuponabook.com.au and we can organise that for you. The book being replaced will need to be sent back to us in perfect unread condition (we will send a reply-paid envelope with your replacement book)

Can we cancel anytime?

We understand that sometimes things happen that may mean you need to cancel. In this case, please log into your member portal and cancel from there. You will need to cancel before the 8th of the month to avoid being charged another month. If you require some assistance, please contact us at hello@onceuponabook.com.au

Where are you located? 

We are based in Perth, WA. We ship Australia wide.

Please email Hello@onceuponabook.com.au with details of your book and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
